This was the week that our final draft had to be produced for the teachers to see however our music video wasn't fully complete due to missing scenes as it was difficult to use our actor due to him being , therefore me and my partner had to change our female actor and our male actor therefore we used our contingency plan which was me.There for planned to re-film our entire music video due to being let down by our actors therefore we made a plan of some of the shots that we needed to reshoot and what we needed to include.

This then meant that we had to delete all the footage that we had previously edit.

This week we also started to focus on our digi pak and advertisements which we had a strong plan for as we made our flat plan for the advertisement and digi pak therefore we had a clear direction of what we was doing and a strong continuity within all of our products.  

Production log 10

In this week me and my partner uploaded our footage that we had to our mac and started the editing process however we was missing allot of our scenes as our actor wasn’t available to film as much as we would had like. However we edited what we had on final cut pro and started to cut the footage down into the parts we need and started to place it in front of our song and started to cut to the beat.

We also started to experiment with the effects to see where we can incorporate these into our music video.This was a long prosess as there was allot of ways inwhich we could have added affects and there was a large variety of choices.We also organised another filming session with our actors however this time it will have our female actor involved.

Production log 9

For this week me and my partner have been focusing on editing the video footage that we have filmed during the other week, during this process we have come across some problems as we found some continuity issues as there have been a massive change in the weather as the opening scene of the music video was in the sun therefore we might have to re shoot some of the footage.We are also having problems with our actors as well as they both cannot find the same free time therefore it is difficult to film them both together which our music video requires allot of.

We also arranged a date that both our actors are free so we can get the main scenes that are needed together. Therefore we will be able to get the bulk of the filming done once this is completed.

We also set up the green screen in the media room as we will be using this for our photo shoot therefore have gained a new skill and can repeat this if needed for the photo shoot.

Production blog 8

For this week me and my partner have been filming in the half term and the location that we had chosen to film in then was at a house , as we wanted to show our character getting ready as it creates an enigma of what the charter is going to do next as we only see him in the house. One of the problems that me and my partner have faced is the timing as the two actors that we are using aren't free to film at the same times therefore its difficult to film them two together and this is a big part of our music video. This makes the filming difficult to us as we cannot balance the two actors however we are going to get them both to book a day of so we can shoot there scenes together . This also makes it hard for our continuity as there has been recent weather changes and some days its hot and bright whereas some days its raining therefore we cannot use this for the scenes that we need continuity for.

Below are images of the locations that me and my partner have chosen to shoot our music video in.

We have decided to use this location as it is practical for us as it is very easily accessed and is a typical play you would see people in a relationship spend time therefore fits our song, it is also good as its the right environment as it will allow us to change our mind whether we would want o show the relationship in a crowed place or a quite play.

We have chosen this location as it is also typical location that you would see a couple in as a couple walking by the river is typical of this genre and suggests romance and is used in this way in allot o films as well.  

we chosen to use a house to show our character getting ready which will be at the start of the music video , we will especially use a bathroom to show our character  getting ready and show this using allot of cuts. This is also practical as we can access it easily and it don't cost anything. 

We have also decided to use a shopping  as we can access it easily and it suits the song , as you would typically see a couple in a shopping centre therefore we will use this location to establish the relationship as a couple.
