                                         Part 1 - The brief

The brief that me and my partner were working to was to manage a new artist and to create one music video package which included a music video, Album Digi pak and a magazine advertisement. 

Me and my partner conducted a presentation to pitch our ideas of our artists, after this we decided that my artist is more suitable therefore chose my artist. The artists name is Jackie boyz which we found on Unsigned artists.com however as we later discovered they were actually signed to universal Music and had there own website  which was a reason which attracted m more as when i saw there website there image was perfect for the target audience hat we was aiming our music video, this was based on there style , music they produced and the big named collaborations. Due to this me and my partner though that contacting the artists for permission would be difficult however we still attempted firstly with an email which wasn't successful which lead to us trying on twitter which was successful. 

Jackie Boyz genre was mainly Pop and  R&B  which is what attracted me to them as that genre of music is usually successful with our target audience which means that the audience would be able to connect to the song which is important for the music video being successful.
